1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and (where consented) measure usage. Some cookies are stored as values in localStorage rather than as HTTP cookies — we list both below.

2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are essential to operate the site and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you, such as logging in. Under the ePrivacy Directive, no consent is required for these cookies.

2.2 Preferences
These remember choices you make to give you a better experience. They are stored locally on your device via the store2 library (localStorage).

2.3 Analytics
None currently in use. If we add analytics in the future (for example to measure aggregated traffic or improve UX), we will only set those cookies after you provide explicit consent via the cookie banner, in line with the ePrivacy Directive and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. This policy will be updated to list each analytics cookie, its provider, purpose and duration.
2.4 Marketing
None currently in use. Any future marketing cookies will require your prior consent.
3. Managing cookies
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clearing the cookieConsent entry from your browser's localStorage — the banner will be shown again on your next visit. You can also configure your browser to block cookies entirely, but doing so will prevent you from signing in.
